Skye's Pecan Toffee

Ingredients:
1 Cup butter (no substitution)
1 Cup granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon white corn syrup
2 Tablespoons water
1 Cup finely chopped Green Valley brand Pecans

Melt butter over medium heat, do not brown. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Return to heat and cook to bubbling stage. Add water and corn syrup. Cook until at har-crack stage. Add 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans. Pour onto lightly buttered cookie sheet immediately. Do not stir or spread. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate pieces over the top. When soft, spread over candy and sprinkle and lightly press into the chocolate, the remaining 1/2 cup of chopped pecans as the final topping.
