Recipe for Dawn's Green Valley Pecan Sandies for Nan

Ingredients:
1 & 1/4 Cups Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup Raw Sugar (Turbinado)
1 large egg
1 running over tsp Vanilla
1 cup Green Valley Pecans

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease two cookie sheets. Put everything in the cuisinart and blend thoroughly. Scrape bowl to be sure all ingredients are incorporated. Drop by tablespoons onto prepared cookie sheets. Press down lightly with a spoon. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until tops are brown. Don't undercook or they won't be crisp. Don't overcook or the bottoms will burn.
